Anthony is a vision impaired physiotherapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University with a bachelor of physiotherapy, joining the Phyxyou team in 2021. He is a former elite athlete representing Australia in three Paralympic Games and multiple World Championships, culminating in winning gold and becoming Paralympic champion on the velodrome in Athens 2004.
His drive to become a physio stems from the significant role physio had in optimising and rehabilitating him through a range of injuries throughout his career. After retirement, Anthony and his wife moved to beautiful Port Macquarie to settle and raise their family. Anthony has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and loves to promote the benefits of physical activity. He pushes the boundaries of what people think is possible for people with a disability, and uses this to encourage others to test their own limitations.
Outside work he can be found training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, playing guitar and spending time with his wife and two girls.
